Who’s hands got lucky? So-Gnar & POW Gloves release a limited edition all new High 5 glove & mitt for the 2011-12 season

Who’s hands got lucky? Good afternoon, and happy October to you! Winter is approaching it’s getting colder outside, and we have some new gloves to keep those hands warm!  Whether your riding your bike, or motorcycle, getting your shred on, or out for an early morning brisk walk with your pooch, this new Pat Milbery/So-Gnar model is great.  Our ad launched this week in print. For those of you in Colorado, check out the October issue of Snowboard-Colorado magazine, it’s a free mag we support and so should you.

Here is your introduction to the brand new So-Gnar designed High 5 [Pat Milbery model] by POW Gloves collaboration. The High 5 is a super comfortable, functional glove and mitten designed with the close detail quality and attention to detail to enhance your daily activities, whatever those may be.  The So-Gnar design, which is the print of these gloves/mitts was based on a line drawing of the mob of monsters we created.  We then added some stripes of color to get them a bit more personality.  Based on their lively personality,  the only way to introduce these into the world was to allow our great friend Brian Curran paint the monster patterns on the gloves on Kayla, the beautiful model and tie the two into together!  Sex meets art and they make one heck of a distraction…

The product will be available on October 15th in stores wherever Pow Products are sold or here on the SO-GNAR web store for all your shopping needs. This was a limited edition run, so be sure not to miss out on the very 1st So-Gnar glove and mitt.  If you would like to pre-order a pair, please email us at info@so-gnar.com to secure a pair.
BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEO COVERAGE
Here is a behind the scenes video of the making of the the So-Gnar | POW Glove Hi-5 Ad shoot. Our boy Brian Curran helps us out with the body paint, Terry Ratzlaff getting the shot, Alli Botto of Devour Bakery helping out the model, Griff Nation acting a fool, head caterer and assisting with lighting, and Pat Milbery & his dog Tora responsible for the art direction. There was a lot of fun with the shoot, with filmer Steve Cummings capturing it all and creating this exclusive edit.  Check out the Ad in the October issue of Snowboard-Colorado Magazine. The film is set to the music of Solid Gold’s “Synchronize.”
