Once the crew reached California, they entered a whole new climate. Instead of the cold, cloudy and rainy stops in Seattle and Portland, the Zumiez Couch Tour stop in Sacramento was clear skies and HOT!
Before the event was event was even open to the public, our creative booth was already filled up at 10a.m. with kids and parents creating posters, drawing on Zumiez Couch mural and playing the So-Gnar Operation table which did not end until the event closed at 7p.m.
We were certainly excited about being at this stop because our good friend Pigeon John headlined on the main stage, which drew a great crowd. It was also a lot of fun to hang out with the guys from Plan B and see them destroy it in their demo.
After this stop, the crew headed over to San Francisco where team riders Mitch Schmidt and Andre Colbert found some ill places to skate like 3rd and Army / Haight and Ashbury for the day before everyone headed back to Colorado for the next tour stop.
